This is the tried and true “old school” approach to project delivery. Under this arrangement, an owner typically hires an architectural or engineering firm to design the project and develop final drawings and specifications. The owner then takes those plans and specifications and obtains cost estimates or bids from one or more contractors. The owner then choses his contractor to build his project and will have a contractual arrangement with both his architect and his contractor. This delivery method is also referred to as “design/bid/build”. Kiefner Brothers, Inc. has five generations of experience acquiring and performing construction work under this method. We have a decades old track record demonstrating our ability to be competitive when it involves work within our wheelhouse. We will gladly compete head to head with any quality competitor.
