Construction Management is a construction delivery system where a construction manager is used to assist the owner and owner’s architect in planning, scheduling, developing and monitoring the budget, and ultimately building the project. While the project owner still holds separate contracts with his architect and his CM, the arrangement does offer early collaboration between the design side and the construction side of the process. Kiefner Brothers, Inc. has a wealth of experience performing under this arrangement at both SoutheastHealth and Saint Francis Medical Center. We work as a Construction Manager at Risk (CM-At-Risk), whereby the cost of the work is always guaranteed not to exceed a certain dollar without changes to the scope of work after the guaranteed maximum has been established. Our track record of delivering complicated, healthcare related construction on time and under budget over the last two decades as a CM-At-Risk is second to no one in our region.
